  1. Sweethandi.com: The portal is run and managed by M/S Sweet Handi providing the online store and delivery service by virtue of having an arrangement with different shops / vendors in India to sell their products through Internet channel. Sweethandi.com does not manufacture any of the products displayed on the website.
  2. Customer: The person using the online store and delivery service.
  3. Products / Goods: Products ordered by the customer.
  4. Perishable Goods: All sweets products
  5. Non – Perishable Goods: All other products except perishable products.
  6. Products: The products delivered to the recipient will be generally as per the description of the article and as per the picture chosen by the customer. The pictures are illustration purpose only and the actual product might differ from the illustration.

In using shopping services of sweethandi.com, customers are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions listed below. Sweethandi.com reserves the right to add, delete, alter or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The Customer is therefore advised to read carefully these terms and conditions each time he or she uses the shopping service(s) of Sweethandi.com. By placing an order the client is authorizing the .company to pass on the order to the respective merchant / vendor and make sure the product is delivered to the given address. While rendering the service the .company is acting only as an authorized representative of the client and not as his agent or in any other capacity. The .company shall be handling the material only as a service provider. Nothing contained herein shall create or be deemed to create or construe a relationship between the parties such that Sweethandi.com is regarded as a seller or purchaser of the Vendor / Merchant’s products and all sales and purchases of the Vendor / Merchant’s products pursuant to an order placed on the Sweethandi.com are transactions between the customer, placing an order for the same on the Sweethandi.com, and the Vendor / Merchant. Sweethandi.com is an online store for the vendor / merchants to host and sell his merchandise and a facilitator of the sales contemplated herein.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. All prices are in Indian Rupees
  2. The prices can change at discretion of Sweethandi.com. Prices vary as per the location of the delivery.
  3. The product/services provided on this site are without warranties of any kind. Sweethandi.com does not warrant that the products/services offered will be exactly similar, error free, or that the defects will be corrected.
  4. Sweethandi.com ensures to deliver best quality products from known sources, though it is not responsible if the quality or taste of the product does not match the expectation of the recipient.
  5. Products shown are indicative only. The accessories shown are not a part of the product unless categorically mentioned. The actual arrangement of any gift products will vary.
  6. In an event the ordered products are not available; they will be replaced with available products which are similar in nature and of equal value post confirmation from the customer. If customers are not agreeable with the replacement please refer our cancellation and refund policy.
  7. Sweethandi.com will not charge more than the prices mentioned on its web pages
  8. Sweethandi.com reserves the right to change the products on sale, product specification and price at any point in time. Orders placed before such changes will be serviced under older terms or money would be refunded.
  9. Sweethandi.com does not, in any way, claim ownership or right over the Trademarks, Brands and Company Names used at this site, which are owned by their respective owners/companies. References to these products and company trademarks are used solely for the purpose of identifying the products supplied at this site.
  10. Sweethandi.com holds the right to destroy all records of delivery and other connected documents after 90 days of booking.
  11. If the recipient of the order or the person who consumes and/or uses the contents of the order is different from the person who has ordered then it is the responsibility of the person who has placed an order to communicate all the terms and conditions that he / she has agreed  at the time of placing the order
  12. The customer undertakes and agrees with Sweethandi.com, that they shall not permit any other person who has an interest in the consignment to bring a claim or action against us arising from the carriage, even though we may have been negligent or in default and if a claim or action is made, customer will indemnity us against the consequences of the claim or action and the cost and expenses we incur in defending it.
  13. The sender is bound to above terms and conditions once he/she places the order. The sender should read the above terms and place the order with Sweethandi.com only if they are acceptable by him/her
  14. In the unlikely event of a dispute relating to the services of Sweethandi.com, the dispute shall be subjected to the jurisdiction of Kolkata (India) courts.

 

 

Shipping and Delivery

  1. Products will be delivered to the address mentioned by the customer while placing the order. The Customer will provide full address with nearest landmark, pin code number and telephone number for all consignments booked for easy identification and prompt delivery.  Sweethandi.com or its logistics partners will not responsible for delays / non delivery if the address mentioned is incorrect / in-complete
  2. Sweethandi.com will not deliver any consignment with post-box address only.
  3. Sweethandi.com will not provide any proof of delivery with respect to consignments to be delivered to Customers
  4. The normal delivery time of the product ordered is between 9:00 am to 07:00 pm on all days except for Sundays and holidays.
  5. Sweethandi.com shall try its best for prompt delivery. The expected time of delivery is 2-6 working days from the time it is ordered. Delayed/early delivery for whatever reason shall not entitle the customer for any damages or .compensation. Refund or replacement would be done based on the Refund and Replacement policy given in this website.
  6. If the Customer is not available in the premises at the time of the delivery, Sweethandi.com will not take responsibility of the quality of the product for second and more attempts to deliver the product.
  7. While Sweethandi.com takes great effort to ensure prompt possible delivery of fresh products, Sweethandi.com shall not be responsible for the degradation in the condition of perishable items due to late delivery.
  8. For the items delivered by the logistic partners like Fedex,  their respective policies apply. Sweethandi.com reserves the right to charge the order if by any chance the recipient rejects the order for any reason except for damaged / tampered packaging
  9. Sweethandi.com will not be responsible for any loss or damage/delay direct to the consignment or consequential, caused due to incorrect address, any act of God, such as accidents, any natural calamity, war, riot, .commotion, strike, Local/Political Disruptions, Air / Rail / Road Disruptions / Delay or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of sweethandi.com.  No claim for loss / damage / delay will be entertained by Sweethandi.com in such events.
  10. Sweethandi.com shall not be liable for any consequential or special damages or loss (including loss of income, profits, makers, reputation, use of contents or loss of any opportunity) or other indirect loss arising from the loss, damage, delay, mis-delivery or non-delivery of your consignment even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise. Sweethandi.com shall not liable if your consignment or any part of it is lost, damaged, delayed or more delivered or not delivered at all as a result of ACT OF GOD, FORCE MAJEURE, which shall include war, accident, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes, civil .commotions, national or local disruption in air or ground transportation networks, mechanical problems to modes of transport or machinery or patent defects or inherent vice in the contents of the consignment.
  11. In spite of full caution taken at the time of delivery, Sweethandi.com will not be responsible for a mis-delivery if the receiver of the product at the address on the order form misappropriates, damages or fails to hand over the product to the person named on the order form and takes the item posing himself to be the correct person.
  12. The items being shipped would be perishable in nature. It is the responsibility of the customer to store it appropriately under refrigeration immediately post receipt. Degradation of product quality due to failure or delay in above will not be attributable to Sweethandi.com and Sweethandi.com will not be eligible for any refund or replacements if informed later than 6 hours of product delivery.
  13. Sweethandi.com reserves the right to withhold delivery of any consignment booked by the customer if proper acknowledgement, viz, signature, .company seal, date and time of delivery is refused by the concerned consignee and Sweethandi.com will not be responsible for any consequence or loss due to such non-delivery.
  14. In case of a change in address, deferred delivery, please drop us an email at orders@sweethandi.com mentioning your Order Id immediately after placing an order. No changes would be accepted once the orders has been shipped.
  15. The Customer agrees to reimburse Sweethandi.com on demand any payment incurred by Sweethandi.com towards Octroi /Entry Tax charges, Sales Tax, Airport / Railway station Demurrage Charges or any Penalty related to any of the aforesaid or for Non Submission of Various Government Forms / Road Permits any Other Government Levies for any consignment booked by the Customer.
  16. Sweethandi.com reserves the right to dispatch the different items of the same order separately, not as a single package, if certain items in the package are not acceptable by certain couriers.
  17. Sweethandi.com agrees to provide proof of deliveries to the Customer against the consignments booked and delivered should a requirement arise for a dispute/assurance of delivery, Sweethandi.com would provide the necessary records in soft format as provided by Logistics Company.

 

Cancellation and Refund

  1. In the event of a cancellation, mail us at orders@sweethandi.com and full refund will be given to the Customer.
  2. Orders once placed can be cancelled or changed till the time of Sweethandi.com placing an order with the respective vendor and/or has shipped the order.
  3. Refunds will be made in the same form that the payment is received within 14 working days from the date of cancellation of order
  4. In an event the ordered products are not available; they will be replaced with available products which are similar in nature and of equal value post confirmation from the customer. If the customer disagrees with the replaced product full refund will be given to the Customer.
  5. If the Customer is not satisfied with the purchase for any reason, he/she need to inform Sweethandi.com on email –  orders@sweethandi.com within 6 hours of receipt with the supporting photographs and specific reason for the dissatisfaction and other documentations as necessary. Sweethandi.com will refund up to 50% of the product cost excluding shipment and packaging charges after reviewing the case.
  6. Sweethandi.com reserves the right to change the products on sale, product specification and price at any point in time. Orders placed before such changes will be serviced under older terms or money would be refunded.
  1. If the product delivered is not the product the Customer ordered, the Customer would immediately send an email to orders@sweethandi.com mentioning Customers Order Id with relevant pictures of the product and documentation. As per Customer’s request Sweethandi.com will refund the entire amount or resend the product as ordered.
